back from yam camp and exactly halfway through my internship! wednesday and the skies are blue.
i enjoyed yam camp very much! am thankful that i got to go in the end! major lack of sleep but quite refreshed spiritually, just being in the house of the Lord and hanging out with friends(: yam camp comm rocks! thanks much for organising!
anw for a lack of exciting things to say (because more than half my waking moments are spent in concrete jungle raffles place), i must mention that goldenshoe is truly a gem amongst the food places in rafflesplace. and so is people's park. all these super run-down but sekretly powerpack hawker centres. treasurehunt at people's park part2 again tmr! maybe maybe.

rant
one lesson to learn: never overestimate my limits again. this has surfaced in my mind several times this week in various circumstances. hurhur humiliating experience. mm and while i was coordinating transport arrangements for yam camp earlier, this thought popped up again. i know i shouldnt be thinking this way cos im genuinely excited about yam camp and really wanna be there, but the flesh is weak even if the spirit is willing. am tired from work and all i want to do is sleep and be antisocial.
but enough of this brat-like rant cos i believe that something exciting awaits at camp! like what koko sent us, prepare our hearts indeed.

here i am waiting for my hair to dry before i tumble into bed from my chair. better alter sleep cycle before work starts tmr man. anw recurrent 1am bedtimes are not exactly beneficial to health.
the sataybeehoon/charkwayteow which may and i shared earlier have long dissipated from my tummy and now im very hungry. on a separate note, after our kboxing session (for zhao's farewell) tonight, i must say that music videos arent exactly the nicest stuff to watch on earth.
alright time and tide wait for no man. i think im going to hunt for the hairdryer so that i can catch more sleeping time. BYE.

balloon castle
hahaha this is ridiculous everytime i look out of my window from my room i feel like laughing. my neighbour rented a floating castle for some kids' party and every few seconds i hear kids screaming and see little figures bobbing up and down from within the castle. then theres the violent jerking of the balloon castle also. HILARIOUS.
anw im thinking if i should play frisbee with churchies later the weather does not bode well and theres tyz's party to go for at night too. but considering how i've not exercised for the entire sem, maybe this is a good time to start also. or maybe next week is better. okay nevermind go and take a nap first.

theres something about colourful pictures that make me very gleeful! like rainbow coloured sweets or desserts or coloured pencils. they make me feel like theres more of this beautiful world out there to see. hurhur.
okay anyway post-exams is really quite the bomb as usual. got to sleep alot alot and do useless stuff like watching videos and having long meals (which is not part of the library routine). but i really like. or until i get bored of this and wanna go back to sch at least. though i must say that this semester had been quite the unusual, with the sudden surge in number of modules, the constant sharp fluctuation between being slack and extremely busy throughout the sem, and some other stuff. but in all, God taught me valuable mini-lessons and im thankful(:
okay back to song-searching. im always in a dilemma as to what to choose!
